Christian Education is the central element of the ministry of every church. It is in and through the educational ministry that the members of any church can hear experience and put into practice the teachings of the Bible.
FAMILY (SUNDAY) SCHOOL MINISTRY:
The purposes of the Sunday school program is to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ; and strengthen individuals and families by encouraging them to study the scriptures, obey the commandments, receive the essential ordinances, and keep the associated covenants.
NEW MEMBERS ORIENTATION MINISTRY:
The New Members Orientation Ministry is to be the first point of contact in the process of welcoming all persons wishing to unit in Christian fellowship with Stronger Hope Church. We are assist new members during the initial stages of their membership to maticulate through the new members' orientation classes. To give each new member a concise, simple, yet sound study on the assurance of salvation, forgiveness from sin, the significance of baptism and the Lord's Supper and to teach the new members how to form good habits for spiritual growth through Bible study and prayer. We are to assist each new member in discovering his/her spiritual gift and assimilating him/her into a ministry so that each member becomes involved in the life and program of the church.
MUSIC MINISTRY:
The choir objective is to minister the work of God (on one accord) through song in order to evagelize the sinners, equip the saints, and exalt the Savior. The Goals are to train each member of the choir to minister the word of God through effective music education and Christian education.
CULINARY MINISTRY:
The purpose of the culinary ministry is to provide a friendly environment for a joyful fellowship among all of God's children. The ministry should not only provide a delicious meal, but it should also feed the soul. "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4).
HOST/HOSTESS (GREETER) MINISTRY:
The host/hostess ministry is to foster a welcoming environment for the people of God, especially, the new faces in our mist. Many times we are the first contact new people will have with Stronger Hope Church. Jesus teaches us that whatsover we do for others we do for him.
USHERS MINISTRY:
To be a good usher, one must be motivated by the spirit of evangelism and exemplify a stewardship life. The usher must be prompt, courteous, tactful, and unobtrusive at all time because the usher helps the pastor and promotes worship.
AUDIO MINISTRY:
The principal function of the audio ministry is to record all of the services and events that takes place within the church.
WOMEN'S MINISTRY:
The mission of the women's ministry is to teach, nurture and help each other become mature Christian Women. We are Christian Women planting SEEDS (Seeking, Equipping, Encouraging, Devoted Sisters).
COLLEGE MINISTRY:
Developing an understanding and love for the Word of God is an important aspect of this ministry. One of the major goals of th College Ministry is to make each student feel like one of the church family at Stronger Hope. A unique way to accomplish this goal is through the Watchcare Ministry. This program allows college students to be a part of Stronger Hope while maintaining their home church membership. This creates a home away from home for the student.
PASTORAL CARE MINISTRY:
"...As I have loved you .... By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." John 13:34-35. Stronger Hope Pastoral Care Ministry reflects our desire to provide an environment where all who are associated with the church can find spiritual comfort through our Christian love, fellowship, hospitality, and prayers. We seek to build relationships whereby the respect for the dignity or uniqueness of every person is recognized. This relationship will be built through ministering the love of Jesus to others through our words, actions and prayers. We seek to work with individuals and groups to identify the persons and families to whom the support is needed.
FAMILY/MARRIAGE MINISTRY:
The purpose of the Family Marriage Ministry (FMM) is to provide Christian Education to married couples and families. This ministry lives to be an instrument of the Holy Spirit in obedience to the great commission of our Lord>
